Rick’s Heart Foundation sponsored 72 adults and children through Union Gospel Mission to attend a community – building evening at the 2018 Bright Nights in Stanley Park. Christmas time can be a very heavy time of year for those without the financial stability, to make it memorable for their families. We believe everyone should get to experience joy and wonder during the holidays, that is why sponsoring low income families to attend Bright Nights is important to our Foundation.
Vancouver’s Bright Nights has been running at Stanley Park since 1997 and is today one of Western Canada’s largest and most famous Christmas attractions. Bringing lasting memories, joy and a holiday spirit to all who attend.
Admission to Bright Nights is by donation with proceeds benefiting the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund
which is a registered charity that does all kinds of valuable work to support victims of fires and educate the public to help keep people safe. It also sends child burn victims to summer camp, and provides support and accommodations to families of burn victims in hospital.
Rick’s Heart Foundation is excited to sponsor another group of families in 2019 for this memorable night out.
