Helping the marginalized population is such a priority here at Rick’s Heart Foundation. This is why we have partnered with The John Volken Academy to create the ‘Mobile Mission with Impact’ van. The HEART of this mission is to directly bring support to those in need within our Community.
The Mobile Mission van made its first appearance on February 4th, 2020 at the Toque Tuesday event. However, the van’s first ‘MISSION’ happened this past week by bringing pallets of food to Luke 15 House. This recovery home boasts a great sense of support, community and giving back. The gentlemen at Luke 5 House have been donating their time on Wednesdays, to volunteer at Surrey Urban Mission (SUMS) for years. We wanted to bless them in return for them being such blessings to those at SUMS Place.
