Recovery Awareness Tree

Cover Photo

Our team here at Rick’s Heart Foundation, is excited to be participating in Tsawwassen Springs 2023 Festival of Lights to raise funds for the Delta Hospital + Community Health Organization. This year our tree is dedicated to Recovery Awareness as our Country is currently in a overdose crisis. A special Thank You to our Volunteer Ellie, for designing and setting up this impactful tree.  The writings on the tree are from local individuals in the midst of their recovery journey. The only solution to this crisis is compassion, empathy, connection and kindness. This holiday season please approach others with a kind heart as everyone has their own burdens they are carrying. Recovery is possible, especially if Community surrounds those struggling and lifts them up.
