Rick’s Heart Foundation was the stage sponsor for the 4th Annual Motors and Music event, held on August 16th, 2025, in Cloverdale.

~~~~~~~~
Despite the challenges that the weather brought our way, this year’s fundraiser car show was a true success. While heavy downpours may have chased a few away, the dedication of the car community, our spectators, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers shone through.
We are proud to share that together we raised $20,000 in support of our cause. This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and commitment of so many. A special thank-you to our major donors: These are Direct Donations to the Police and Peace Officers Memorial Society. Each 5k equals one tuition for a child of a fallen officer.
  • B&W Insurance – $5,000
  • Fraser River Paint and Body – $5,000
  • Cloverdale Cold Storage – $10,000
To each and every one of you who sponsored, contributed, participated, or lent your time and energy — we are deeply grateful. Your support not only made this event possible but also created an unforgettable day of community, cars, and music.
Benefitting the Children of Fallen Officers
The Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Ribbon Society’s Memorial Ribbon Scholarship was created to offer the children of fallen officers the opportunity to attend a post secondary school anywhere in Canada.
On February 3, 2011 the Society and Memorial Ribbon Scholarship Chair, C. Scott M. Shepherd, attended Parliament Hill to officially announce the launch of the Scholarship. Scott Shepherd’s speech to the guests in attendance explained the Scholarship and put forward a challenge to post-secondary institutions to take up the cause of the Memorial Ribbon Scholarship.
