At Rick’s Heart Foundation we were delighted to have supported Adult & Teen Challenge BC’s annual Gala this fall. We provided a Heart for Music-themed gift basket for the event, which included a tablet, headphones, a speaker, and merch to create a personal music set-up. This gift basket was designed to bring joy and a sense of musical connection to the recipient.
Adult & Teen Challenge BC is a faith-based organization dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction and find a new path in life. Their programs focus on transformation through Christ, offering a comprehensive approach that includes education, work experience, devotionals, and recreational activities. With a minimum 12-month live-in program, participants have the time and support needed to confront and overcome their challenges, ultimately becoming “mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.”
Wendy Townsend, Centre Director at Patricia Hope House, shared her gratitude: “I want to thank you for the generous gift that you donated for the Gala. The winner was very excited about it… It was a great night and the testimonies and meals were awesome… Fun was had by all.”
We are honored to have been part of such a meaningful event and to support the incredible work of Adult & Teen Challenge BC. Their dedication to transforming lives and providing hope to those struggling with addiction is truly inspiring.
