Impact: Caring Hotel Partners Lead the Way in Sustainability!
This Earth Day, we are celebrating our Caring Hotel Partners. Thanks to them, 119,511 pounds of gently used hygiene products, linens, and lost & found items were saved from landfills last year. What could have been discarded was transformed into hope and dignity for vulnerable people.
Together, we became leaders in environmental stewardship, showing the power of sustainability, compassion, and community, helping to reduce waste, lower carbon emissions, and create a greener future for the hospitality industry.
A special shoutout to our top five hotels of 2024, who led the way with the most contributions by weight:
#1 Pan Pacific-Whistler Mountainside13,895 Pounds
#2 Fairmont Chateau Whistler 7,647 Pounds
#3 Fairmont Vancouver Airport 6,867 Pounds
#4 Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe6,803 Pounds

Key Highlights:
The Fresh Start. Behind every bar of soap and folded towel we deliver is a story of hope. The Fresh Start community is a passionate group of monthly donors who are helping restore dignity through something as simple, yet essential, as hygiene.
Regular, consistent donations change lives. It allows us to plan, prepare, and deliver hygiene and linens all year long to those who need them most. Monthly donations help reach even more individuals, offering not just cleanliness but confidence, comfort, and a renewed sense of self. Small acts of care make a difference. Become a monthly donor today.
Hygiene Poverty Survey. Our findings show the growing struggles individuals and families face, lacking access to basic hygiene essentials. With this data, we can better understand the scope of hygiene poverty and how it affects physically, mentally, and socially this issue and amplify our efforts to provide support. Read the reporthere
Transportation Challenges. Orders have decreased due to our transportation challenges, and this has created a barrier to accessing essential hygiene products. Your donations help us address this barrier. We are also looking for new partnership to help us provide hygiene products throughout BC and Alberta efficiently.
