Although COVID-19 has changed the way we gather for fundraisers, we are proud to be a part of a resilient community that is constantly providing new and innovative ways to give back to causes that need our support. Looking for an opportunity to give back to good in the Surrey community but don’t know how, when, or where?

We’ve listed out the latest upcoming events from our neighbours for you to check out!

February 2, 2021 ~ Toque Tuesday Hockey Game Day Surrey, BC

This annual event is a fun filled community Hockey Tournament. Teams will need to register for the event ahead of time with Tim Baillie, Supreme Hockey Day Commander at baillie161@gmail.com Entry Fee for participation is the purchase of a Raising the Roof Toque, set of Socks/ Mittens in addition to a Non-Perishable food item for the Food Bank and Socks/ underwear or lightly used coats, footwear, work wear or other work items.

There will be music, resources, hot dogs, pop and popcorn by donation and fun to be had by all!  For toque, socks or mittens please see a Pacific Community Resources Society Staff member and they will be happy to sell you one or many.

February 24, 2021 ~Pink Shirt Day #stopbullying

The CKNW Kids’ Fund is proud to run the largest Pink Shirt Day campaign in North America, but this is not our only priority. For 75 years, the Kids’ Fund has supported children living with physical, mental and social challenges in British Columbia. As we do our best to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the CKNW Kids’ Fund team continues to work diligently assisting vulnerable kids and youth.
